duisport: Trimodal logistics hub and largest hinterland hub in Europe.
The Port of Duisburg is more than a port: As a trimodal logistics hub, duisport handles a volume of 4.3 million TEU (20-foot standard containers) and – by connecting the transport carriers water, rail and road - offers the ideal conditions for creating the most efficient, resource-friendly and cost-effective transport chains possible.
The largest hinterland hub in Europe combines an excellent geographic location and ideal site conditions with comprehensive logistics know-how and impresses customers from around the world with a wide range of products – including full-service packages for infrastructure and suprastructure (including settlement management) as well as logistics for packing logistics, rail freight, project logistics, consulting and building management.
In order to promote innovation in logistics, duisport established the „startport“ innovation platform together with partners from industry. Its mission – to develop the logistics solutions of tomorrow.
The beneficiaries of this connected logistics concept are our partners and customers, including the 300 logistics-focused companies that are based in the Port of Duisburg and that generate added value of around EUR 3 billion per year.
