Lars Nennhaus holds a degree in industrial engineering and has around 20 years of experience in senior technical positions in the port and logistics environment.

He initially started his career in the field of logistics real estate development in the Hamburg area, followed by five years in management positions with a private terminal operator in the Port of Hamburg. Subsequently, he was already employed by duisport as Managing Director of Port & Logistics Development from 2011 to 2018. After a four-year international assignment for one of the world's leading chemical logistics companies, he returned to Duisburger Hafen AG on January 1, 2023, as Executive Board member responsible for Technology and Operations.
