We are the central hub for goods and freight traffic, which comes with great responsibility. Not only do we prioritize safe, efficient, and sustainable operations, but we also commit to honest and compliant conduct.
For us, compliance is more than an obligation—it is an integral part of our corporate culture. We rely on clear rules, fair business practices, and have zero tolerance for corruption or fraud.
Our values and Code of Conduct guide us in everything we do—within our team as well as in collaboration with customers and partners. Every individual contributes to upholding our high standards. We emphasize open communication to ensure that violations can be reported confidentially and that integrity always comes first.

Business Partners & Suppliers
The Port of Duisburg is managed according to strict rules for responsible conduct.
Therefore, our suppliers and their partners must comply with all relevant laws and regulations—both in Germany and worldwide. To ensure this, we have established clear guidelines outlined in a dedicated Supplier Code of Conduct. These rules define the expectations for collaboration with us.
We are committed to continuously improving our operations, and we ask our suppliers to support us in this effort. Our Code of Conduct is based on German laws and international agreements.

Notices & Reports
Any misconduct by employees, business partners, or other individuals can harm the company. This applies both to our own operations and to our supply chain. Therefore, it is essential to speak openly about issues. All employees, business partners, and affected individuals are encouraged to report any observed wrongdoing. Of particular importance are violations of laws or European Union regulations. Additionally, employees, business partners, and others can report human rights or environmental concerns related to our company or supply chain.
These reports help us identify problems early, prevent or resolve them, and secure our long-term success.
The duisport Group ensures that employees who report concerns in good faith will not face any disadvantages. However, this protection does not apply if reports contain intentionally false or misleading information or are abused. All reports are handled confidentially and may be submitted anonymously. This also applies to reports from individuals outside the company.
